What is the best time to visit Kashmir for snow?If you want to witness a winter wonderland and enjoy snowfall, the best time to visit is from late December to mid-March. For snow activities like skiing and the Gondola ride in Gulmarg, January and February are the peak months.

Winter (Nov-Mar): Yes, heavy woolens, jackets, gloves, and thermals are a must.
Summer (Apr-Jun): Light cotton clothes are fine for the day, but carry a light jacket as evenings can still get chilly, especially in Pahalgam and Gulmarg. -
